John Kamaal Sunjata, Tenant Leadership Academy Assistant
John Kamaal Sunjata received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of North Carolina Greensboro, where he majored in Economics and double minored in Political Science and Philosophical Ethics. He’s a graduate student in Master’s of Public Affairs (MPA) at UNCG. He has a great deal of experience with grassroots organizing and he conducts independent research on gentrification, racial stratification, structural inequality, and international affairs. He is currently a Tenant Leadership Academy assistant with the Center.
