North Carolina has a long history of housing activism. All too often, this history is overlooked and not well-documented. Real change has resulted from the work of housing activists and organizers. During this Housing Hangout we will learn about North Carolina’s history of housing activismsince the 1960s and ongoing efforts to ensure that the most marginalized have access to safe, healthy, and affordable housing.
